Painter and sculptor Kris Ruhs travels the same conceptual itinerary in every art form he approaches: matter, whether pictorial or sculptural, is used for constant experimentation, a work in progress that is continually transformed. In the course of his work forms generate more forms and, when functional, are used as furniture, objects or jewels. Ruhs’ necklaces are unique items which are not based on a design, but are a consequence of his interdisciplinary approach.
